Discover the beautiful underwater world of Curaçao

Relax & Enjoy the Dive

At this dive site, located directly across from the dive shop, you can dive both left and right. There are several plateaus and hills in the reef, which can make orientation a bit challenging.

At a depth of 6 meters, you will find the coral nursery of the Coral Reef Restoration Team Curaçao, along with several outplants.

Tugboat is one of the easiest and also one of the most popular dive sites on Curaçao.

Here, you’ll find a reef that eventually transitions into a wall. At 5 meters depth, you will find a small wreck, which also makes this an excellent snorkeling spot. Near the pier, you may even spot a seahorse!

Recommended for all divers, regardless of experience level.

Here, you can dive left toward “the Point” or right toward the wall.

The shallow section quickly ends in a vertical wall that drops straight down to 40 meters. If you follow the wall to the right, it stays that way, with occasionally some small holes.

If you follow it to the left, the initial part of the reef is not very spectacular — but after about 10 minutes of diving, you’ll reach the Point. Once there, you’ll find a beautiful reef with massive sponges and corals. Watch out for currents after passing the Point.

This site is less known and requires a swim of about 10 minutes to reach.

Because not many divers go here, the reef is almost untouched and excellent for lionfish hunting. For this dive, we strongly recommend a local dive guide.

Marie Pampoen is a small beach in a small bay. Exit the bay and dive to the left. The reef gradually slopes deeper and is full of corals and sponges.

After 10–15 minutes, you’ll reach the car pile. It begins at 15 meters and drops to around 70 meters. The cars are barely recognizable anymore, but there are also boats and many other metal objects to explore.

The Superior Producer sank off Otrobanda near the Mega Pier. You can only dive here when no cruise ship is docked.

Entry is easy, but you must know where the wreck is — it’s easy to miss. The wreck sits upright at 30 meters. Be aware of strong currents in this area.

Klein Curaçao is a small island with beautiful diving. It is advisable to dive here with a guide due to potentially dangerous currents.

Swim to the drop-off, which begins at 7 meters and slopes down to 40 meters. After 20 minutes following the reef to the left, you will see the outline of a wreck (a pontoon) that was used to transport car wrecks to their dumping site.

The shallowest point is at 20 meters and the deepest part goes to 35 meters. The wreck lies on the reef, covered with sponges and surrounded by fish such as sergeant majors and trumpetfish.

This reef is a double reef, with a sand valley between the first and second reefs, reaching a depth of 30 meters. The second reef begins at 16 meters and drops to 50 meters, where you can see Garden Eels dancing on the sand plateau. At the second reef, Eagle Rays and Stingrays are frequently spotted.

The bay has cliffs on both sides and is well protected, so it is always calm.

Follow the sandy bottom in search of seahorses and sea turtles.

Outside the bay (left side), after about 200 meters, you will find two small caves. These can be explored by well-trained divers.

To reach the drop-off, swim/snorkel straight out from the mouth of the bay for another 100 meters. The reef begins at 9 meters and slopes gently to 30 meters. Currents are usually mild.

On the left side of the reef you will find large colonies of:

• Great Star Coral

• Brain Coral

• Stove Pipe Sponges

• Cup Coral

• Sea Rods

Descend directly at the pier. Here you'll find many small creatures, small fish, and cleaner shrimp. In the morning, this site is full of turtles.

Swim about 5 minutes to the drop-off, but be careful: it is an active fishing harbor, so watch out for boats.

The coral formations at the drop-off are home to many colorful fish.
